Returning to that crazy time of year for companies like us who specialize in soft furnishings, Designers ringing us daily asking if we can squeeze in a pair of curtains here, a bolster there and surprisingly a couple of laundry bags too! – we had to say no to that one……….
But it’s a great time for accessorizing, and if you’re not in a position to change your Curtains and soft furnishings seasonally as some people do. You can use Christmas and winter to layer your look, or simply by changing throws, cushions to seasonal colours. Reds, fushia pink, dark greens and peacock blues. Though Eucalyptus Green is the colour of the moment, it can make your home calm and classic and can create a laid back dining experience, if used with simple furniture and rustic textures. It looks great on a Linen tablecloth mixed with fake foliage in mixed greens, and using touches of Gold on napkins, table runners and seat cushions, all for the festive season.
